Our Story & Philosophy

At Unwind & Align, we believe Pilates is for everybody. Founded by Alice Wong, a certified EDUPIM® instructor, our mission is to make the incredible benefits of Pilates accessible to the community of Ipoh. We focus on mindful movement, proper technique, and creating a positive, non-intimidating space where you can achieve your wellness goals.

Perfect for: Absolute Beginners

Learn the fundamentals of Pilates in a supportive environment, be it on the Reformer or Tower. This class focuses on basic principles, proper alignment, and breathing techniques to build a strong, safe foundation for your practice. It’s also perfect for slower days when you just want to take it easy!

A powerful and energizing class designed to challenge and improve your limits. Expect advanced spring settings, dynamic cardio integration, and advanced movement sequences.

What to Wear & Bring


Wear:

Comfortable, form-fitting clothing (so instructors can see your form). Grip socks are mandatory for hygiene and available for purchase.


Bring:

A water bottle and a towel. We provide all equipment.

Arrive Early

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your first class. This gives you time to check in, meet your instructor, and get settled. We encourage you to share any existing conditions or limitations with your instructor prior to class for your safety and comfort.

What to Expect

Your instructor will guide you through the reformer setup and the basic movements. Listen to your body and don't hesitate to ask questions!

Is Reformer Pilates suitable for injury recovery?
> Yes, but please inform us of any injuries before class. You’re welcome to join any group class and feel free to move at your own pace. We highly recommend a private session first for personalized care.


I'm new to Pilates - which class should I start with?
> We recommend beginning with our Align class. It's perfect for understanding key principles, learning proper form, and getting comfortable with the equipment before moving into more challenging sessions.


How can I book into a class?
> Access to Momence


What is your cancellation policy?
> We understand that plans change - simply cancel your class at least 12 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation charge. This allows others on the waitlist to join.


The class I want to attend is fully booked, what do i do?
> If a class is full, don't worry! Add yourself to the waitlist - spaces frequently become available closer to the class date.


Would my class be cancelled?
> If a class is ever cancelled, you'll hear from us straight away, and your class credit will be safely returned to your account.
